Worked interactively with the client to challenge assumptions, identify strengths and weaknesses, quantify the financial needs and potential, and refine the concept. Ultimately constructed a comprehensive business plan that included detailed financial projections. The plan successfully garnered the required bank and SBA financing to leverage his equity investment, in addition to attracting key industry support and marketing assistance. First store is scheduled to open 3rd quarter, 2007.
Case in Point: Working with a vague concept for outsourcing of facility infrastructure ownership and maintenance, conducted secondary research, consulted technical resources, and wrote a full business plan with projections and pricing models. Negotiated $2 million in pilot projects on behalf of account managers. Company subsequently launched plan as full scale service offering.
